The purpose of Friends of Preston Park is to promote the improvement of the park for the people who use it by:
- encouraging park users and the local community to value the park through participation in park-related activities and events;
- acting as a two-way communication hub for our members;
- liaising constructively with council staff and other officials for the betterment of the park.

Public meetings:
The group holds one public meeting each year, which doubles as our Annual General Meeting. Of course, anybody is welcome to attend this meeting, the date of which will be posted on the Events page of this site and in the park.
